Hrvatska Elektroprivreda (HEP Group) is a national electricity company, which has been engaged in the production, transmission and distribution of electricity for more than a century, and in the last few decades also in the supply of customers with heat and the distribution of gas. Hrvatska Elektroprivreda is organized in the form of a concern as a group of affiliated companies (daughter companies). The controlling company (parent company) of HEP Group is HEP dd, which performs the function of corporate management of HEP Group and guarantees the conditions for a safe and reliable supply of customers with electricity. Within HEP Group, companies that perform regulated activities (transmission and distribution) are clearly separated (in terms of management, accounting and law) from unregulated activities (generation and supply).
