Project: Increasing productivity and business capacity by purchasing working machines for the company SOKOL doo
The project is co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund, which is implemented as part of the Operational Programme Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014-2020.
- Brief description of the project
The company Sokol doo has signed with the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts and the Croatian Agency for Small Business, Innovation and Investments (Hamag Bicro) a Grant Agreement No.: KK.03.2.1.05.0176 for the implementation of the project "Increasing productivity and business capacity by purchasing working machines for the company SOKOL doo".
The investment project refers to investment in tangible and intangible assets related to the expansion of the capacity of an existing business unit. The subject of the project is primarily the purchase of new machinery to increase business capacity and increase productivity. The implementation of the project will result in an increase in the number of employees, total revenues, as well as an increase in export revenues and will contribute to more rational energy consumption and sustainable development. The above will increase competitiveness and achieve growth and development of the company.
- Project implementation period
The project is being implemented from July 16, 2018 to May 16, 2019.
- General objective of the project
The general goal of the project is to contribute to the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the construction and civil engineering sector by increasing competitiveness. Smart and sustainable growth of the economy is encouraged through the application of new and improved existing technologies, technological procedures, and the introduction of products with higher added value.
- Project purpose (specific objectives)
The specific goal of the project is to modernize the company and improve the technological readiness and development of the company through the acquisition of new equipment. This will enable more rational business planning, improved work organization, reduction of costs per product unit and increase in the volume of delivered services, which will ultimately result in an increase in income, new employment and the possibility of entering new markets, as well as an increase in the company's competitiveness.
- Expected project results
- Result of the activities undertaken (goods and services achieved through the project) - 3 tracked excavators, 1 tracked bulldozer, 2 wheeled excavators purchased, all machinery and equipment put into operation and employees trained to work on them; increased business volume, reduced costs per unit of product, 32 new employees hired, increased revenue achieved as well as increased revenue on the foreign market.
- The total value of the project is: 7,482,724.00 HRK
- Total eligible costs amount to: 7,482,724.00 HRK
- Amount of co-financing from the European Union: 2,650,153.40 HRK
