Project: Modernization and generaltoptimization of business processes of the company Sokol doo by introducing advanced ICT solutions

The project is co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund, which is implemented as part of the Operational Programme Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014-2020.

• Brief description of the project

The company Sokol doo has signed with the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts and the Croatian Agency for Small Business, Innovation and Investments (Hamag Bicro) the Grant Agreement No.: KK.03.2.1.03.0107 for the implementation of the project "Modernization and generaltoptimization of business processes of the company Sokol doo by introducing advanced ICT solutions".

The project includes investment in tangible and intangible assets related to the introduction of new ICT solutions to optimize business processes, integrate business functions, efficiently organize workflow and improve interaction with clients and suppliers, as well as improve the company's market position and increase competitiveness and business efficiency. The implementation of the project in question is necessary for the future operations of the company because the results that will be achieved as a final result of the investment will enable the continuation of successful operations, which includes sustainable growth and development, and increase the company's competitiveness.

• Project implementation period

The project is being implemented from January 16, 2017 to January 16, 2018.

• General objective of the project

Contribute to increasing the growth and development of micro, small and medium-sized entrepreneurs operating in areas with development specificities of the Republic of Croatia, on the domestic and foreign markets, strengthening their competitiveness, creating new jobs and developing new competencies through the introduction of advanced ICT systems.

• Project purpose (specific objectives)

1. Strengthen the company's market position on the domestic and foreign markets and create the prerequisites for further growth and development
2. Modernize and improve business operations by introducing advanced ICT solutions for the optimization and integration of 9 business processes of the company Sokol doo
3. Development of new information and communication competencies of the company Sokol doo
4. Create the prerequisites for opening 5 new jobs by 2020
5. Increase in sales revenue

• Expected project results

• The information and communication infrastructure necessary for the functioning of the advanced ICT system has been acquired and is in use.
• An ERP system was developed and successfully implemented, and employees of Sokol doo were trained to work in an advanced ICT system, which created new competencies.
• Individual ICT solution, AutoCad, purchased and put into operation.
• By implementing an advanced ICT system, 9 business processes of the company Sokol doo have been modernized and integrated into an advanced management and control system.
• Existing jobs were preserved and 5 new jobs were created.
• Sales revenue increased by 15,41%.
• The entire operations of Sokol doo are more efficient and productive.
• The implementation of the project contributed to the economic development of the city of Vinkovci, which is in Group III in terms of development in accordance with the Decision on the Classification of Units of Local and Regional Self-Government

• The total value of the project is: 1,592,152.49 HRK
• Total eligible costs amount to: 1,583,152.49 HRK
• Amount of co-financing from the European Union: 1,424,837.24 HRK
